Fertility Robitussin

An excellent over-the-counter remedied for fertility Robitussin works to increase the fertile quality cervical fluid we produce. Also known as guaifenesin it comes in several generic names. Robitussin happens to be one of the original makers of it. For the purpose of this article I will refer to it as simply Robitussin. Primarily used for helping to loosen nasal and bronchial mucus it also helps to "loosen" the mucus all over the body.

If you take Robitussin around ovulation time it will help to loosen and increase the fertile quality cervical fluid, thus making it easier for the sperm to travel up through it to the fallopian tubes. For best results you need to take one to two teaspoons of Robitussin a day until ovulation. Most women will start taking it after the menstrual bleeding has stopped. Make sure when you buy it that it only has guaifenesin in it. Many different formulas exist - many with a decongestant and / or antihistamine - which can adversely affect the cervical fluid by drying it up.
