A fertility option means that you have a choice in your fertility. I am a very opinionated person, thus my passion to write.
You may find that trying to get pregnant can be a stressful and
frustrating time. I sure did, however when I became pregnant with my
first baby I was clueless. I had no idea about what was going on in
my body - and gave birth to my first baby prematurely at 35 weeks. I
went on and conceived my 2nd baby two weeks after a miscarriage and
gave birth to her prematurely at 36 weeks. They are both healthy and
fine now - but wow, I sure wish I knew then what I know now!
I learned that just because you have 2 babies, doesn't mean that the
third one will come along as easily. I experienced minor infertility
during the months in conceiving my third baby. I was not sure why
and that's when I really went on a major search - to seek out why I
was having problems and what to do to correct them. I realized that
if I wanted to figure this out I had to research it for myself.
I couldn't understand why other women would have miscarriage
after miscarriage and nothing was done to determine why or to
prevent another. They were told that nothing was wrong with them,
but that these things just happen. I heard the song and dance of
"Well, you have children, so there's no need to test why you can't
have more." There is a reson for concern for the return of a healthy fertility after miscarriage.
Fact is, if you have been trying to conceive longer than six months or if you've had more than one miscarriage then you owe it to yourself to find out every single fertility option available - both conventional medical and natural. Study on all aspects of fertility then make an informed decision about how to proceed. Do talk with your physician about it - but I also invite you to discuss it with a naturopath too - or a person similarly qualified. Cover all your options and hopefully you'll find the best treatment for you.
